PREVIEW
Queensland will hope it is third time lucky when they take on Victoria in a blockbuster men’s semi-final on Saturday night.
The rematch of last year’s gold medal game headlines a huge day of live streamed action on Court 4 from the Basketball Australia Under-20 & Ivor Burge National Championships.
After falling to the Vics in the 2024 decider and the opening match of this tournament, the Maroons will be more motivated than ever to get one over on the champs at the third time of asking.
Check out today’s LIVE STREAM schedule below.
In the clash earlier this week, it was the likes of Ned Renfree, Luke Fennell, Dash Daniels and Henry Sewell who got the better of the Queenslanders in a 94-86 victory.
However the Maroons have only become more potent since then, even if they did require a big second half to overturn a deficit and defeat WA in Friday’s quarter-final.
The other big Court 4 showdown will be Queensland and South Australia facing off in the women’s semi-final.
SA – grand finalists a year ago – haven’t been as convincing this time around but will still fancy their chances against a talented Maroons side in what should be an entertaining affair.
And the finals action isn’t limited to there.
At 1.30pm, SA and Tasmania will play off for a spot in the Ivor Burge men’s grand final before an IB women’s semi-final at 3.30pm.
Every match of the Basketball Australia Under-20 and Ivor Burge National Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from January 28 – February 2.
