Australian Basketball Schools Championship live stream: KommunityTV to show 127 games across national tournament (School Championships)

More than 70 schools from all corners of Australia and even New Zealand will compete in Basketball Australia’s Schools Championships next week at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre in Carrara.

And KommunityTV will be with you every step of the way with an exclusive live stream of 127 games over five days, including every match of the boys and girls championship divisions.

The tournament tips off bright and early at 8am (AEST) on Monday morning with four big games - Victoria’s Templestowe College faces Western Australia’s Willeton SHS (Championship girls), Canberra school Lake Ginninderra takes on Brisbane State High (Championship girls), local hopes Hillcrest CC play Barker College (U17 Girls Div1) and Ballina Coast High take on Coomera Anglican (U20 Men Div 2).

There was plenty of fast paced action on day one.

Schools from Queensland, NSW, Victoria, SA and WA will be in action - and the tournament also includes a lone representative from NZ - Rotorua Girls High.

Teams will compete across three age groups (U15, U17 and U20) as well as the elite Championship division.

In the men’s championship, Brisbane SHS, Lake Ginninderra College, Newington College, Rowville Secondary College, Trinity College and Willetton SHS will compete, with Adelaide’s Concordia College and The Southport School entering as wildcards.

The women’s championship division includes Hillcrest Christian College, Immanuel College, Lake Ginninderra College, St Luke’s Grammar, Templestowe College, Willetton SHS, with Rowville and Brisbane SHS entering as wildcards.
