CAULFIELD

BRAD WATERS (Racenet)

CAP DE JOIE (Race 2, No.11 – $2.15)

Cap De Joie chased well when beaten just over a length at Sandown last time. She was impressive in wet ground at her previous two runs and can bounce back.

Value bet: EXCELIDA (Race 8, No.3 – $15)

STEPHEN BRASSEL (National Racing Editor)

LADY OF HONOUR (Race 10 No 16 – $6.50)

Showed great fight after racing keen early last time over 1600m at The Valley. Back to her preferred distance and winner 2-from-2 this course/distance.

Value bet: JACQUINOT (Randwick Race 7, No.11 – $10)

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Racing News Editor)

ANGRY SKIES (Race 5, No.12 – $4)

SIMON MOY (NewsRacing)

ROYAL RANDWICK

RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph)

MR MOZART (Race 8, No.1 – $3.90)

He’s a superior wet-tracker and ended his three-year-old season by reeling off wins in the Phar Lap Stakes, Doncaster Prelude and Hawkesbury Guineas on tracks rated a Heavy 8, Soft 7 and Heavy 9 respectively. His first-up effort this spring was outstanding when he endured a tough run and still worked to the line strongly to finish a close second to Kiku in the Theo Marks Stakes.

Value bet: COMMANDO HUNT (Race 5 No.12 – $26)

MATT JONES (Daily Telegraph)

ELLSBERG (Race 9, No.1 – $3.10)

He’s coming off a Group 1 Epsom Handicap win and doesn’t have to carry much more weight in an easier race at a track he thrives at so he’s the one to beat.

Value bet: SPIRANAC (Race 5, No.11 – $21)

ADAM SHERRY (Sportsman)

KEMENTARI (Race 6, No.2 – $4)

Charged home behind Lost And Running in the Premiere Stakes last start. At his peak third-up and will go close here.

Value bet: ART CADEAU (Race 5, No.1 – $12)

EAGLE FARM

TRENTON AKERS (Courier Mail)

SHE’S A ROGUE (Race 1, No.7 – $4)

Went within a whisker of winning a fortnight ago when she raced greenly in the concluding stages. Should be better for the experience and prove hard to beat here.

Value bet: TARA JASMINE (Race 10, No.14 – $12)
