Traffic Warden (James Cummings) and Switzerland (Chris Waller) rounded out the top four from Gatsbys (Waller), Daggers (Busuttin-Young) and Stanley Express (Clinton McDonald).

Traffic Warden was scratched from The Everest last Saturday after being fractious in the barriers.

“He’s freshened well and we brought him out here today for a jumpout up the straight, it will acquit him for his tilt at the Coolmore next week,” Cummings said of Traffic Warden.

Jamie Kah just held the colt together nicely, he was just here to have a good look up the straight without getting carried away. We had him quite fit and ready to go for the weekend, he didn’t really need too much in the way of lung burners.

“Jamie was quite pleased with the horse and I’ve heard the report he’s pulled up well back at the stable.”

Waller was also pleased with Switzerland and Gatsbys, while Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner Private Life finished fourth in a separate jumpout on Friday.

Emirate was scheduled to go around with Private Life but Waller confirmed the colt had been tipped out for a spell.

Switzerland is slated to contest the Coolmore, with Waller to make decisions on Gatsbys and Private Life.

Private Life could be held over for the Group 1 Champions Sprint (1200m) on the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

“James (McDonald) is very pleased (with Switzerland), said the best part of his work was very late,” Waller said.

“He’s a very talented colt and coming to Melbourne with some good Sydney winning form and he’s back to his best.”

Traffic Warden is a $3.50 favourite with Ladbrokes for the Coolmore from Growing Empire ($3.60), doubtful after placing third in The Everest last week, and Switzerland ($5).
