A handful of Australia’s top three-year-old colts will feature in Saturday’s Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m) at Flemington.
Switzerland, Growing Empire and Traffic Warden were among the 12 which accepted for Saturday’s feature event in Melbourne.
Chris Waller’s star colt Switzerland – winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes down the Flemington straight last November – will jump from gate seven, one outside of The Everest placegetter Growing Empire.
Group 1 winners Mornington Glory, Mazu and Benedetta also feature in the acceptances for the Black Caviar Lightning.
