BEST BET

ANGEL OF THE SEA (Race 8 No.4): She gave too much but worked home OK when resuming at Geelong. She’ll be fitter and the Pakenham track is suiting her style at the moment.

NEXT BEST

BELLA PIETRA (Race 2 No.6): The Lindsay Park-trained filly has raced on the pace and tried hard at both runs to date. She’s up to 1400m and could be harder to run down.

VALUE BET

INTHELAPOFTHEGODS (Race 3 No.1): The tough galloper led throughout to score at Mornington last time and is hard-fit for this. He’ll be in this for a long way.
