BEST BET
WOLFGANG (Race 8 No.9 - $5.50)
Wolfgang won well when resuming last time in and has been gelded since. His recent jumpouts have been impressive as well.
NEXT BEST
SLUGWORTH (Race 5 No.10 - $4.94)
Slugworth worked home OK over 1400m on debut and should be better for the experience. The 1600m will be perfect.
ANTHURIUM (Race 6 No.4 - $5)
Anthurium is on the fresh side for this but Mick Kent knows how to get stayers ready. Expecting a bold run on Friday.
VALUE BET
PALENTINE PRINCESS (Race 1 No.8 - $13)
Palentine Princess relished getting up in trip when close-up at Moe last time. No reason she won’t run well again at Cranbourne.
THE JOCKEY
Jockey Ben Allen heads to Cranbourne for five rides on Friday. SPELLMASTER (Race 1 No.3 - $9.50), THE WESTERN FRONT (Race 4 No.3 - $4.40), TORBELO (Race 6 No.2 - $5.50), CHARTWELL HOUSE (Race 8 No.1 - $11), PLACENTIA BAY (Race 9 No.8 - $2.80).
