Shayno: Epsom/Metrop Saturday, Grand Final Sunday. Life’s good Mitchy. Call me old fashioned but I love Handicaps, especially at Randwick and especially capacity fields. Epsom first; I am banking on the two Toms – Tom Kitten and Tommy Berry – even with the draw (19).
Mitch: Shayno, there’s another recently gelded galloper I’ve got my eye on. Ceolwulf has come back enormous after the ultimate gear change and I am expecting him to give Joe Pride his second Epsom Handicap win. He’s been runner-up twice before in Group 1 company but Saturday will be his crowning moment.

Shayno: Hoping Penrith beat Melbourne by 40 on Sunday but I reckon the Mexicans, or in this case the Italians, have one hand on our Metrop with Que Tempesta, who has been given a beautiful lead-in to a 2400m Group 1 by the Hayes’.
Mitch: Some people hate how many scratchings there are every week but tell that to those backing Unusual Legacy. Chris Waller unsurprisingly has a strong hand but this bloke has to be the pick of them. He’s progressive and gets in with the featherweight.

Shayno: Everyone’s saying the Flight Stakes is over. They said the same about the Swans last week and look what happened. No knock on her but I’ll take $101/$26 about Miss Busslinger and $26 about the same filly to win the VRC Oaks.
Mitch: As a GWS man, I took great pleasure in watching the Swans go under last week. The Flight? We both took a set against Autumn Glow last time but I am not foolish enough to go against her again. Only bad luck beats her. Oaks can be the only bet with Miss Busslinger.

Shayno: I have this feeling that Giga Kick is going to come out and make a big, big The Everest statement in the Premiere, Mitchy. It all lines-up so well for him with the draw and James McDonald.
Mitch: I’ve leant the other way. Joe Pride needs the defending champ Think About It to run well to get a chance in the big one so tipping he’s there to run a massive race on Saturday. I am astounded that nobody has taken him or Private Eye.

Shayno: Omen tip of the day. Hooligan Tommy in the Midway. Part owned by Panthers legend Greg Alexander!
Mitch: I am saving the best for last. Race 10, Moravia. He just wins.
