FOUR-PLAY: FLEMINGTON BEST BETS
RACE 2: BYERLEY HANDICAP (1800m)
BET: $50 win BAYOU MUSIC (1) at $3.20
Closed off nicely from the back behind Buccleuch last start at Flemington but ultimately too far back behind a moderate tempo. The two-year-old Street Boss colt worked through his gears late to run into fourth place – albeit well beaten. Should appreciate the extra distance on Saturday but wary somewhat of tempo again, with only seven runners engaged. Unlikely to be a heap of speed so Bayou Music should be able to settle closer from barrier two and be strongest late.
Buccleuch races by them & proves too strong to make it three wins in a row in a dominant display in the Listed Taj Rossi Series Final ð¥@mj_payne@TheBeeeganpic.twitter.com/ioDvMfw0bJ

RACE 5: RMBL INVESTMENTS RISING STAR FINAL (1600m)
BET: $50 win SOUND IT OUT (7) at $5
Won with authority last start at Sandown, aided by genuine rain-affected ground. Ploughed through conditions to reel in the plucky PARIAH PEARL (2), who looks a main danger again. Sound It Out has won two of her past four starts and placed third two back behind Until Valhalla, who franked the form with another win since. Drawn wide on Saturday but should be able to land in a prominent spot with good speed in the race likely. MISS TARZY (1) the fresh horse on the scene, won first-up at big odds, and could repeat the performance.
Sound It Out justifies the strong market support to get back into the winner's circle for the third time this season ð¥@cwallerracing@jyemcneilpic.twitter.com/XWhzOkPrcB

RACE 7: DEANE LESTER FLEMINGTON CUP 1849 (2800m)
BET: $25 each-way VIRTUOUS CIRCLE (3) at $12/$3.40
Hard to catch backmarker, won three of 23 starts, as always going to need luck. Finished off nicely two starts back at Flemington 2540m race to run fourth and get within a length of the winner BOLD SOUL (4). Slow into stride last start and exposed as the field went at a strong clip early despite being a 2600m race. Worked through gears late again to run fourth. Yet to win beyond 2000m but racing like the 2800m could suit.
It had been 420 days since Bold Soul last graced the winner's enclosure in the Group 3 Chairman's Stakes, but he found the line first today ð«

BET: $25 each-way LOSESOMEWINMORE (2) at $5/$2.10
Nice win first-up at Flemington then found one or three better in subsequent appearances. Last start fourth behind the airborne Marble Nine, beaten two lengths. Should only need to hold that form to be competitive. Two starts back finished second to Harry Got Styles in a similar race to this and got within half a length, not quite able to reel in the leader. Big weight but hard fit and ready to win again. REWARDS AND MORE (6) next best.

QUADZILLA
LEG 1, RACE 6
LA FRACAS (8) shooting for a hat-trick after back-to-back wins on Heavy tracks. Not going to get that on Saturday, some query but horse in form with Blake Shinn aboard must be respected. Stablemate MOBY DICK (6) a definite threat and won down the straight previously. Showed glimpse of best last start, having mixed form previously. DE BERGERAC (11) next best. Include FREAK OF NATURE (5), better than recent form suggests.
1ST LEG 5, 6, 8, 11
LEG 2, RACE 7
VIRTUOUS CIRCLE (3) has yet to win beyond 2000m but racing like the 2800m should suit on Saturday. Back-marker going to need luck and tempo to suit. BOLD SOUL (4) racing in great heart, won and placed twice the past three starts. Thereabouts again. MUKTAMIL (14) has equally consistent and gets in light.
2ND LEG 3, 4, 14
LEG 3, RACE 8
SAYEDATY SADATY (7) made bank last start after being placed in two previous appearances. Class runner should be hard to hold out again. MILFORD (9) has raced better than form suggests and could be in the finish somewhere. Former West Australian and Perth Cup winner CASINO SEVENTEEN (1) raced well first-up in Melbourne. Drawn nicely and won and placed second-up previously. FLASH FEELING (12) has a wide barrier to navigate but gets in light.
3RD LEG 1, 7, 9, 12
LEG 4, RACE 9
LOSESOMEWINMORE (2) has raced consistently this preparation, won first-up then placed and finished fourth behind a subsequent stakes’ winner. Should be hard to hold out despite a big weight. REWARDS AND MORE (6) has earned a return to Flemington with back-to-back Ballarat wins. DOCUMENTARY (12) bolted in on debut last summer. Market mover? Respect South Australian raider HAJRA (15).
