BEST BET
Race 8 No.1: PANUARA BOY
Found them too good at Grafton over 1100m last start but was a nice winner at Ballina over 1010m before that. Won on debut at this track and distance.
VALUE BET
Race 4 No.8: SOCIAL STAR
Covered ground on her way to a win over 1200m at Inverell last start. She have no trouble stepping up to 1300m.

RACE 1
Deep Field colt Fire Star has been very good winning his two recent trials and can kick-off his career with a win. Raced outside the leader to defeat Hale Bopp here on July 10 then led all the way to win by three lengths from Rapido at Rosehill on July 21. Solar System is another Deep Field debutant coming off a trial win at Randwick on July 14. Raced wide midfield and shaken up late to get home over the top. Rockabilly Rebel is better than her latest run at Kembla. Placed here behind Shaken first-up. Gleaming was a second in her Warwick Farm trial on July 24.
Bet: Fire Star to win
RACE 2
Deep Voyage had raced consistently over short distances before breaking through for his first win over 1800m at Hawkesbury on July 9. Followed up with a handy second to Vincenzo over 2000m at Kembla 11 days later. Hard to beat. Interventionist has similar form to Deep Voyage finishing third in the same two races at Hawkesbury and Kembla. He has drawn inside Deep Voyage this time. Earl Of Devon got well back from a wide gate in Vincenzo’s race at Kembla Capable of figuring in the finish. The Professor was held up in the straight in the same race and should have finished closer.
Bet: Deep Voyage to win
RACE 3
Zarrose went back from a wide gate and was held up on straightening before closing off nicely for second behind Howgoodareyou over 1300m at Hawkesbury on July 9. The winner got home in 33.09sec and Zarrose made up a little ground. Decisive Lass raced midfield and was doing her best work late to grab third behind I Stole It over 1200m at Kembla. Will appreciate stepping up in trip. Zara’s Hope was caught wide and drifted back to get cover when fourth behind Wooloowin when resuming over 1100m at Gosford two weeks ago. Drawn the inside here. Beatlemania hasn’t been far away and looks suited going up in trip.
Bet: Zarrose to win
RACE 4
Hongkong Harmony turned in a solid effort at his Australian debut when resuming from a long spell. Jumped quick but caught out three-wide before finishing third behind Wooloowin who tracked him. With the benefit from that run and barrier 1, he can go close. Hellbent debutant Hell Of A Show has been impressive in his trials. Won his first two on May and given an easy time in his most recent heat when fourth at Gosford. Former Victorian Star Magic is now with Nathan Doyle and has been good in both trials. Unfortunately drawn the outside gate. Serafima hasn’t been far away and is worth including in the multiples.
Bet: Hongkong Harmony to win
RACE 5
Boston Rocks followed up his two big trial wins with a stylish victory over 1000m at Gosford three weeks ago from Secret Spy who has since franked the form. Boston Rocks should have no trouble handling the step up to 1200m. Solvere was well beaten in both runs this campaign but must be respected on his Randwick trial win on June 30. Jumped straight to the front and exploded away on the bend before easing down to win by five lengths. Gardenzia appreciated the blinkers when he won at Wyong on July 15 before backing up a week later when fifth to Biographer at Gosford. Our Gigi Rock won on debut and resumes here off an easy trial.
Bet: Boston Rocks to win
RACE 6
Dreamdeel was trapped out three-wide with cover and ridden along approaching the bend before finishing a two-length fifth to Soami when resuming in a BM72 Midway over 1300m at Rosehill. Drawn in grade and steps up to a more suitable trip here. Wide draw is the only concern. Martini Crusader went back from a wide gate and made ground in the straight when fourth to Moorestown at Hawkesbury. Drawn to settle closer and will make his presence felt. Oakfield Redgum led all the way to win on a heavy track here two starts back before a fifth to Dresden in a Class 2 at Grafton on Ramornie Day. Drop in weight helps. Allhallowtide was just beaten first-up. Keep safe.
Bet: Dreamdeel to win
RACE 7
Invincible Kiss will appreciate a big drop in class from her recent assignments. Was a half-length third to Twice As Special at Randwick on June 24 and wasn’t far off the placegetters when sixth to Diamond Diesel and seventh to Omni Man at Randwick at her last two starts. Chipper has only won the one race but he is a consistent performer. Taken on in front when third to Vindication here last start. Mr Bingo wasn’t given any peace in front when third to Boomsong at Hawkesbury last time out. Placed two from three here. Vegas Raider was held up and never tested when last to Dancing Alone at Kembla two weeks ago.
Bet: Invincible Kiss each-way
RACE 8
Things just didn’t go right for Chain Of Gold when well beaten as an odds-on fav at Taree last start. He didn’t handle the heavy track and stewards reported he pulled up lame. He had wide runs at his previous two starts when narrowly beaten by Super Friendship at Gosford and Strait Acer at Hawkesbury. Drawn ideally and gets his chance. Princess Amira found her right form again with an upset win in the Mother’s Gift at Grafton three weeks ago after racing outside the leader. Drawn gate one and goes well on her home track. Lady Shenanigans was just beaten by Stars And Bars at Kembla last start. Drawn well and can figure in the finish again. Gendarmerie is capable of figuring prominently.
Bet: Chain Of Gold to win
