RACE 1
Coincide, the half-brother to Group 1 winner Converge, returns from a spell as a gelding. He showed good ability on debut when second to Barber in the Kirkham Plate and was third to Don Corleone two starts later. Trialling well. Undivided is a flashy son of Rubick from a half-sister to Group 1 sprinter Bentley Biscuit. Sat outside the leader before drawing away for a two length trial win from Hanau at Canterbury on June 26. Bojangles was held up in the straight when fourth to Sprint Lee on debut Gosford on July 6. Hanau, by Snitzel from a sister to Pierro hasn’t been pushed in closing well in his recent trials.
Bet: Coincide to win
RACE 2
Mannequin was spelled after her fourth to Last Straw on debut here on March 29. Trialled very well at Canterbury on June 26. Wide draw the only concern. Love And Light was well backed on debut at Wyong on July 4 when not match for Shaken after racing outside the leader to finish second. Will take plenty of improvement from the experience. Stefi Magnetica turned in a big effort to finish third when resuming at Hawkesbury on June 29. She made a mess of the start and settled eight lengths off the leader before tacking on to the field on the bend and finishing strongly to be two lengths from the winner, Mission Ridge, on the line. French Endeavour was good on debut and will run well again.
Bet: Mannequin to win
RACE 3
Jamrock enjoyed a nice run just off the speed before cruising away to a near five-length win to break his maiden over 1600m at Wyong on June 15. Stepped up to a BM64 at Hawkesbury again over the 1600m and was good in finishing a half-length second to Malabar on June 29. Steps up to 2130m and drawn well. Socrates was forced to chase the leader here last start and felt the pinch late when ninth to Mutamanni. Led and just beaten by King Of The Castle this same track And distance two starts back. Won his only start at this trip. Really Serious has been good winning her last two and will be in the finish again. Okataina will be thereabouts again.
Bet: Jamrock to win
RACE 4
Dancing Alone won her maiden at Canberra back on January 20 before going back-to-back with a Class 1 win at Kembla on February 7 where she beat Time To Boogie. Won both recent trials and can kick off with another win. Kahawaty raced very well last preparation notching three wins and she wasn’t far away in her other runs aside from her eighth in the Expressway Stakes. Things didn’t pan out well for her that day. She has been very good in her two trials and looks set for a big campaign. Secret Revolution has only miss a place one this campaign when fourth to Bubba’s Bay two starts back after being held up until passing the 200m. Boxed on for third to Insurrection at Randwick last start. Pinnace drops in grade on her recent runs including a close second at Sandown.
Bet: Dancing Alone to win. Kahawaty each-way
RACE 5
Thousand Years was slow to muster speed and settled back in the field before working home along the rails to finish 2½ lengths from Aristonous in seventh place when resuming over 1600m at Randwick on June 24. Drawn well and is a second-up winner. Lovetheinvasion raced outside the leader and boxed on for a 1½-length fourth to Invincible Legend when resuming over 1550m on the Kensington. Will be improved by the run. Mascaret has been unplaced in both Australian runs at Rosehill over 1300m and 1400m. Back in grade and up to 1600m. Don’t dismiss. Outside can figure in the placings on his best form.
Bet: Thousand Years each-way
RACE 6
Alfano appreciated a good tempo and despite being held up into the straight, Ruby Flyer has been super this campaign winning three of her four starts and was forced very wide on the bend when 12th to Gracias Amigo here on May 31. Bounced back with an impressive win at Newcastle on June 24. Vintage Choice raced keenly back in the field when fifth to all-the-way winner Resonator at Rosehill last start. Just behind placegetters his previous two runs. Drops in grade and drawn nicely. The Replicant worked home okay when third to Invincible Legend on the Kensington track two weeks ago.
Bet: Alfano each-way
RACE 7
Star Impact followed a win over 1350m at Wyong with a length second to Allasandra over 1400m on the Kensington on June 14. Dropped back to 1200m when fourth to Diamond Diesel in a Midway at Randwick on July 8. Back to 1400m suits. I Am Lethal was back and wide when 10th to Stonecoast at Randwick on June 24. Freshened and scored a big win in his Warwick Farm trial on July 7. Stablemate Strombus was freshened after his Kensington win over Demitasse on June 14. Good late in his Randwick trial on June 30. Able Willie has battled away for third and fourth at his past two starts here and won’t be far away again.
Bet: Star Impact each-way
