Race 7 No.2: OSTRACISED
Will feel more comfortable at home and in this grade after a forgivable failure in a Randwick TAB Highway.

Race 1 No.2: KOGA NINJA
Cody Morgan again, this one did a fine job at the first campaign and trialled a treat recently.
VALUE BET
Race 6 No.4: BILL PEYTO
Finishes on the podium at one in every three starts and one of his rare wins was at the track/trip.
QUADDIE

Race 6: 1,4,9,15
Race 7: 2,3,6
Race 8: 1,4,5,11,12
JOCKEY TO FOLLOW
Aaron Bullock might break the 200 winners barrier for the season at Tamworth on Friday.
DUBBO
BEST BET
Race 5 No.3: PYRAMID OF FIRE
Been a fair bit costly but mostly consistent. No excuses this time.

Race 1 No.7: KAISA
Can win some friends back after being rolled when in the red last start.

Herne Hill is an emergency, he could go around at Taree if he misses out here. Just for the record, he has only won once in 26 starts but he has placed eight times but when you get back and run home, you can’t expect to win every time. White Arendelle is a lightly-raced and clearly progressive filly who will probably be saved for Taree on Tuesday. Agnodice won very easily in the end when she had her first start for Cody Morgan here on July 7. The 1400m should suit her just as well. Yirrkala is too consistent to leave out.
Bet: Herne Hill each-way
RACE 6
Bill Peyto has finished on the podium at 13 of his 35 starts which is quite an honourable record when judged over his career in both hemispheres. These days he calls Armidale home and he really hasn’t missed a beat in his time with Jane Clement. One of his two wins was at this same track and distance. Norman is also a track and distance winner. Fit and gets 4kg off here. Devocean was eighth of 11 first-up but he went super given he was two lengths off Talons in a 1300m race. His only win so far was second-up at a mile.
Bet: Bill Peyto each-way
RACE 7
Ostracised is back racing at home after a trip to Sydney for a TAB Highway on July 15. The Cody Morgan-trained gelding clocked in 10th of 13 but it was a pretty strong Highway and he did take some ground off them in the straight. Former Victorian gelding Sting Jet ran a huge race at his first start for Brett Cavanough in a 900m Class 1 at Scone on June 30. The step up to 1200m can only be a positive for this gelding whose only win so far was second-up and at this trip. Divine Sinner hasn’t done anything wrong. Satay Chicken races well at her home track.
Bet: Ostracised to win, exacta 2 to beat 3
RACE 8
Hard To Say has accepted for the Highway at Randwick on Saturday where he will face off with Mogo Magic and could really test the mettle of the Goulburnian. If you agree with that, then he has to be on top here if he comes. Le Melody is a deadset, rolled-gold, track and distance specialist. The Cody Morgan-trained daughter of Your Song is unbeaten in her two starts at the 1000m here at home and ran 56.46sec at her first win here. Swamp Nation may/might find these other two a bit quicker but will be strong late.
Bet: Hard To Say to win or if scratched Le Melody to win
INSIDE MAIL: DUBBO

Pyramid Of Fire has also accepted for a race at Tamworth on Friday. Just for the record, it probably wouldn’t be unfair to say that he has been both consistent and costly in his 13 starts. In terms of Friday at Dubbo, he has the draw and the talent to beat them off a great trial. Kelilah was never in the race first-up at Muswellbrook. She lost touch early in the 1000m race but did a good job to be only beaten four and a half. Vanoureuce has a win and a third from his only two prior runs at the track and distance. Midnight Dream, Protostar and Minnewater have claims.
Bet: Pyramid of Fire to win or if scratched Kelilah each-way
RACE 6
Magnus Red is an interesting runner to say the least. The son of Magnus has done all of his racing in Victoria where his record reads as nine starts for two wins, three seconds and a third. He won his last start for Matthew Smerdon, that was on June 20 at Pakenham where came from 10th of 11th at the 400m and with 61kg on his back. Sussu was costly but not awful in a very, very strong Benchmark 74 here on July 10. British Statesman, the well-named son of Churchill, was tipped out after winning the last two of his first three starts. That suggests obvious talent on his part.
Bet: Magnus Red to win, quinella 2,4
RACE 7
Croatian Madame is not a guaranteed starter but just in case she makes it, we ought to point out that she has raced at Dubbo four times for three seconds and a third. Finding Alice might also be missing from the field but she will run well if she comes. Wasserman, the brother to Lindermann, has the draw to win if he is good enough and everything in his form, especially since he arrived at Gayna Williams’ HQ, suggests he most certainly is. Keep On Going is sure to be prominent for a long way just like he was first-up here. Note the depth in his form. Example, he was runner-up one day at Parkes to Listen To The Band.
Bet: Croatian Madame each-way, if scratched Finding Alice to place, if scratched, Wasserman to win
RACE 8
Finding Alice (see above) is a dual acceptor, she was/is the emergency in this race. She could win either race she was entered in but my own guess, for what it is worth, is that maybe the mile was more to her liking? More Than Discreet is probably absent from the race but I am certain there is a win close at hand for the son of More Than Ready. Raiding, the daughter of VRC and South Australian Derby winner Rebel Raider, was an easy winner at Warren over the mile last start. Drawn badly and has a big weight but he’s fit and in-form.
Bet: Finding Alice each-way, if scratched More Than Discreet each-way, if scratched Raiding to win
