MR NEWS (Race 8 No.3 – $2.15)

Mr News started as a short-priced favourite and won like one on debut at Echuca last time out. He’s up in grade but could find himself in harder races after Thursday.

NEXT BEST

MAGIC EDITION (Race 2 No.7 – $9)

Magic Edition chased well behind a smart winner on debut and will be better for that experience. She can race closer this time and more ground will suit the mare.

SHULTZY (Race 5 No.1 – $6.50)

Shultzy chased well when not disgraced at this level at Ballarat at his second run back from a break. The five-year-old is consistent and can be thereabouts over this longer trip.

ATOMIC SELFIE (Race 7 No.5 – $5.50)

Atomic Selfie raced on the speed and fought on well around this track last time. She’s back to 1200m but has blinkers on and is hard-fit for this.
