KICKING KING (R2 No.2): Kicking King is down in class after a close second in the Tasmanian Derby behind smart local stayer Likeakalix. The start before he finished midfield in a handicap race at Flemington behind subsequent NZ Group 2 winner Thedoctoroflove.

NEXT BEST

HIGH PRAISE (R3 No.4): High Praise has begun his career with two close seconds and should go close again stepping up to 1600m.

GLENFINNAN (R7 No.3): Glenfinnan won at the track and trip last time out by 1½ lengths after two seconds to start the prep. He’s missed the placings just once in his six starts, which was on a heavy track.
