South Korean Min A Yoon joined Australian star Hannah Green and became just the third woman ever to take down the men in a mix-gender event by storming home to win the $250,000 TPS Victoria title by a single shot.
Yoon achieved the feat major champion Green was the first to do last year after carding an eight-under par 63 on Sunday, coming from five shots off the lead, to beat James Marchesani by a single shot.
Only Yoon, Green and Sweden’s Linn Grant, who won the DP World Tour’s Scandinavian Mixed event last year, have triumphed over the men in a 72-hole professional mixed-gender tournament.

The 20-year-old, who celebrated her birthday during the week, took a share of the lead after a trio of birdies on her back nine.
Then she holed-out for eagle from the greenside bunker at the par-5 16th to jump out to a two-shot lead.
Translating for his excited daughter after her win, Yoon’s father, Jin, knew how significant that hole-out was.
“She tried to keep her swing balanced and then tried to make a two-putt par (on the par-3s and par-4s). Then at the par-5 she tried to make an eagle or a birdie. That was the point to win,” Jin said while
“First of all she tried to escape the bunker. Fortunately it was near the pin, it went in and she made the eagle.”
