Even though the opening game has already taken place, players from that game are now unselectable, you can still name a serious SuperCoach squad for BBL14.

Important notes:

* The Stars and Scorchers have already played and are therefore locked out. This means they can’t be selected in any side created from here on. But there is still plenty of talent on offer.

* Speaking of, a host of recent and not-so-recent Australian internationals are still available including David Warner, Adam Zampa, Sean Abbott, Matt Short, Chris Lynn, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Kane Richardson.

* In terms of schedule, the team to target is the Renegades. They play twice this round when all remaining teams only play once, so clearly have a massive advantage. They are also the team to target with captaincy and vice-captaincy with Adam Zampa sure to be popular for those who missed out on a Star in the opener.

* The next most important team to target is the Strikers, who have doubles in round 2 and 4. This makes Matt Short a must even though he is the most expensive player in the game.
