India have pulled off a truly remarkable draw – one of the gutsiest in Test history – to deny Australia 2-1 series lead.

It was not for a lack of trying. For the first time this series, Australia’s batsman had their time in the sun, twice passing 300.

But it wasn’t to be, as crucial errors, fatigued bowlers and stoic Indian batting forced an incredible result after five days of gripping cricket.
