A wild basketball brawl has been captured unfolding on the courts, leaving three people with injuries.
The shocking scenes unfolded on Thursday night in Port Augusta, South Australia with spectators and players involved in the ugly brawl.
In footage shown on Seven News, around 15 to 20 people can be seen engaging in the fracas, with one individual being forcefully thrown to the hardwood while another is dragged to the ground by their hair.
South Australia police were called to the sporting complex, with an investigation into the matter ongoing.
The footage appares to show one woman slinging another by her hair and attempting to punch her in the head before a player in a blue singlet intervenes.
He is then grabbed from behind by another player wearing a black singlet, who swings him around and slams him onto the court.
South Australia police have asked anyone with information to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
The shocking scenes come less than a month after a melee broke out in the stands of a college basketball game in St. Louis, Missouri.
The CBS Sports Network broadcast captured the melee right behind the VCU bench with 1:10 left in the second half, with a number of fans involved as security tried to regain control.
There was no clear reason for what started the fight, but the chaos could be seen occurring in the stairwell in a section near the floor and it delayed the game for about seven minutes.
At one point, a man with a white moustache appeared to be pushed down by another spectator amid a scrum.
Others could be seen trying to get involved in the situation.
Security ultimately regained control of the wild scenes which allowed the match to get back underway.
