In Atlanta, Dyson Daniels became the third-youngest player in NBA history to record 175-plus steals and 40-plus blocks in a season, only behind LeBron James and Magic Johnson.
He finished with 10 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists with a game-high +16 plus-minus in the Hawks’ 120-118 win over Indiana.
Trae Young had 36 points including the game-clinching free throws late.
Meanwhile the Lakers are fearful LeBron James will miss “weeks, not days” after suffering a groin injury in his side’s 111-101 loss to Boston.
Coach JJ Redick said post-game there was “obviously concern” with the injury.
It’s a major blow to LA who have been red-hot since Luka Doncic’s integration into the side, moving them up into the No.2 seed in the West.
