Dolly Parton has still got it.
The American entertainer blew the country away on Friday (AEDT) with a half-time show performance at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against Washington.

The national treasure rocked a revealing Dallas Cowboys’ cheerleader costume that had fans all googling the same thing. And the answer to the question is that the artist is 77-years-old.
The country music icon didn’t miss a beat during the half time show and left some fans all shook up — including former Cowboys quarter-back Tony Romo.
The NFL commentator was left hot under the collar after watching Parton’s performance and was left struggling to put his thoughts into words when speaking after the half time show.
“She looks amazing,” he said.
“She’s wonderful. Who doesn’t like Dolly Parton.”
NFL host Jim Nance responded: “She’s absolutely an American treasure. That’s for sure. And you are too — fast becoming.

Romo was far from the only one swept of his feet by Parton.
How bout that Dolly Parton. Talk about dressing for the occasion. Now that is impressive.

There was also plenty of debate about the appropriateness of Parton’s revealing outfit, which included a star-studded white vest, white short shorts and a tank top that showed off her stomach.
Her performance from a platform in the middle of AT&T stadium in Texas included a medley of songs that featured her iconic hit “Joelene” and Queen’s smash hits “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions”.
It didn’t matter that the Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since 1995.
“Happy Thanksgiving everybody,” Parton said after her halftime show.
Parton has been a busy woman this month and earlier wowed viewers when she made an appearance at a football game between Tennessee and Georgia.
“I couldn’t hear because my sound went out and the stadium was so loud,” Parton said after the game. “But I was so honoured to be here. I love the crowd. It’s just good to be home.”
The action on the field was totally overshadowed by the performance on Friday despite the crucial game for the Cowboys against Washington Commanders — their NFC East divisional rivals.
Earlier in the Thanksgiving Day football action, Jordan Love led the Green Bay Packers to a surprise win over the in-form Detroit Lions 29-22.
The Lions had gone into the NFC North divisional clash with an 8-2 record and were heavily favoured against a Packers team with just four wins in the season.
But Green Bay quarterback Love produced his most accomplished performance since taking over from Aaron Rodgers for this season, throwing for three touchdowns and 268 yards as he connected on 22 of 32 passes.
The Packers scored three touchdowns in the opening quarter and went in 23-6 up at half-time with their offense firing and their defence applying pressure to Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
The final Thanksgiving Day game features the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.
