Beyonce joined by surprise guests at ‘spectacular’ NFL halftime show on Christmas Day

Beyoncé set the stage alight during her NFL halftime show on Christmas Day in Houston – but fans noticed one missing element.

Beyoncé has set the stage alight during her NFL halftime show on Christmas Gameday in Houston, Texas.

She was joined by a number of big-name stars as well as her own daughter, Blue Ivy. But there was still one thing missing, according to fans.

The iconic singer took to the stage to perform her record-breaking Cowboy Carter album live for the first time during the game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston – her hometown.

Dubbed the Beyoncé Bowl, the singer wasted no time commanding the attention of the crowd, coming in strong with 16 Carriages atop a white horse before singing Blackbird alongside four rising female country artists: Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts and Brittney Spencer.

The 43-year-old then performed a medley of the album’s other hits, including YA YA and Sweet Honey Buckiin with singer Shaboozey joining her for the performance.

Post Malone was the next major star to make a cameo, performing their collaboration Levii’s Jeans in front of the sellout crowd.

Wowing fans further was when Queen Bey brought out her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, with the duo linedancing to her smash hit Texas Hold Em.

“I’m screaming #BeyonceBowl ThankU Beyonce Post Malone, Blue Ivy,” one fan tweeted, while others were just as entertained:

“I mean, just WOW!!! Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Post Malone and Shaboozey?!? That was a whole experience right there!”

“Truly the one of the best to ever do it, absolutely iconic.”

“Nobody puts on a show quite like Beyoncé. Nobody... P.S. Dope cameo by Post Malone. And YOU GO, Blue Ivy!”

“Beyoncé that performance was mesmerising! I smiled throughout and when I saw Blue Ivy I lost it. Shaboozy, Post Malone, the girls on Blackbird, I loved it! Bey Did that! Beautifully.”

Although there was one thing missing, according to fans, who wished Bey had instead invited Miley Cyrus to perform their duet II Most Wanted.

“Beyonce’s halftime show was PHENOMENAL but sad that we got Post Malone instead of Miley,” one wrote, while others tweeted:

“She better have saved Miley for a duet at the Grammys...”

“Now imagine if beyoncé brought out dollyparton or miley…”

Beyoncé was also joined by her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

“Two things I didn’t like about the halftime performance from Beyonce is it was a little short and Miley didn’t perform Jolene with her everything else it was good.”

It’s no surprises that Beyoncé’s performance was considered a hit. The singer is no stranger to the NFL space.

She headlined the Super Bowl in 2013 in New Orleans, during which she brought out the Destiny’s Child group members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland for a mini-reunion.

Bey also made an appearance during Coldplay’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2016, where she sang her massive Lemonade track Formation.
