That was the attitude of Brooklyn Nets fans bizarrely cheering on another Steph Curry masterclass despite it coming against their team.
Curry blew up for a game-high 37 points with nine three-pointers in the Golden State Warriors’ 117-99 win over the Nets at Barclays Centre on Wednesday (all times AEDT).

The Warriors star shot a hyper efficient 12-of-19 from the field and added seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 29 minutes.
It came a week after Curry broke the NBA’s all-time three-pointers made record, while it marked his 37th game with nine triples. The next highest is James Harden and Damian Lillard with nine each.
And while the blockbuster contest between two of the top-ranked teams didn’t quite live it up to expectations, at least Curry’s impeccable performance gave Nets fans their money’s worth.
Curry had it going early with four-straight makes from beyond the arc to compile 12 points in the first quarter.
But his former teammate, Kevin Durant, was just as effective offensively for the Nets in the opening period, dialling in 12 points himself on 4-of-7 shooting from the field with two triples.
Harden added eight points, two rebounds and two steals in a high-scoring first quarter where the Nets took a 34-31 lead.
Curry’s elite shooting from deep drew widespread cheers at Barclays Centre, while the NBA world was also in awe of his production.

Andrew Wiggins came to life in the second quarter, pouring in 13 points in six minutes including a pair of threes in the last 30 seconds to open up a 63-58 Golden State advantage at half-time.
The Warriors came out with more energy in the third quarter to extend their lead to 13 points, but in a big blow Curry had to exit the game with seven minutes left in the period after picking up his forth foul.
It mattered not though as Golden State powered on to blow out its lead to 22 points by the end of the third quarter despite Durant and Harden playing through the minutes Curry sat.
Curry then regained his red-hot touch with two more threes to open the fourth quarter — his seventh and eighth for the game — to continue the Warriors’ onslaught, prompting Steve Nash to empty his bench with nine minutes left in the period.
After Curry bombed in his ninth triple the cheers from Nets fans grew even louder in the arena, applauding the dual MVP whenever he touched the ball.
The Warriors superstar exited the game with five minutes left and both teams’ benches played out the remainder of the contest.
Man, the Warriors are treating the Nets like they're the Rockets

Curry helped lead the Warriors to an efficient 51 per cent shooting performance where Wiggins (19 points) and Jordan Poole (17 points, four rebounds, four assists) also played well.
Durant only scored seven points after the first quarter to finish with 19, while Harden had 24 points on 10-of-11 free throws in an encouraging sign.
Bouncing back from their loss to the Charlotte Hornets, the Warriors have now won eight of their last nine games to sit first in the Western Conference with an NBA-best 12-2 record.
The Nets slid to 10-5 to hold down the East’s third seed.
