It’s official: the Oklahoma City Thunder are the laughing stock of the NBA after being on the wrong side of a 152-79 scoreline against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 73-point differential is the largest in NBA history, meaning the Thunder now have the dubious honour of being the NBA’s biggest loser of all time.

The previous record for the biggest point differential was set in 1991 when the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat by a 68-point margin in its 148-80 victory.
Aussie sensation Josh Giddey, who has been a standout for the Thunder this season, missed the game with the flu and was forced to watch the bloodbath unfold right in front of his eyes.
Thunder star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was also absent, highlighting the vital importance the pair have for the young team.
The Grizzlies were without superstar Ja Morant, making the blowout victory all the more impressive.
In fact, Memphis finished with nine players in double figures for points.
The numbers from the Thunder’s shooting game make for painful reading for its fans.
Oklahoma City shot 32.9 per cent from the field compared to the Grizzlies’ 62.5 per cent.
The Thunder also turned the ball over a whopping 19 times as well.
The NBA world wasted no time in roasting the Thunder over the humiliation with some fans just happy Giddey didn’t have a role to play in the massacre.
Someone needs to let the Thunder know that you can tank without losing by 70.

If a score differential in an NBA game could ever be grounds for intentional infliction of emotional distress, the Thunder should get to the nearest courthouse. https://t.co/P2bloNhQiA
