‘Jacked’: Enormous college football ref Christian Watson is going viral

This jacked referee, who looks more like a linebacker, went viral over the weekend after officiating a college football match.

It is fortunate he only throws flags and does not get more creative in punishing college football wrongdoers.

Christian Watson, a jacked official who looks more like a linebacker, went viral Friday night while calling penalties during Utah State’s 48-24 win over North Dakota.

He was bigger than some of linebackers and linemen.

Watson caught the attention of American fans over the weekend, with images of the official circulating on social media.

Watson, who is in his early 30s, also officiates college basketball and baseball games. He has been called the “Bo Jackson of referees” for his sports flexibility rather than stature.

The Texas native told the Crown Refs Podcast that he joined the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference as a crew chief for football in 2016. A year later, he joined the Big 12.

If he needs another job, gyms are probably interested.
