The invite into the prestigious building is something Eddie has never accomplished in his career, and now Joe can hold that over his head.
Joe was invited to meet the President alongside his Ohio State Buckeyes teammates after they won college football’s national championship.
Not only did the players get to meet Donald Trump in the Oval Office, they were presented with a commemorative medal.
“It was a tremendous honour, most of the guys on the team are Trump fans which I joke to them about,” Joe said to the Herald Sun.
“I give it to them a bit in the locker room, saying how are those tariffs going for you.”
Ohio State claimed the national championship after taking down Notre Dame 34-23, with McGuire barely having to lift a finger.
The Aussie punter was only called upon one time with his first piece of action coming with 6.25 left in the game.
His one and only kick sailed 51-yards to the Notre Dame 10-yard line, he was then back on the sidelines watching the action unfold.
Despite having largely been relegated to the role of kicking tee for most of the match, McGuire still claimed the ring.
After claiming the college national title, McGuire now has his sights set on not only finishing college … but earning a spot in the NFL.
“It (making the NFL) is definitely the ultimate goal,” he said.
“I’ve definitely got a long way to go before I look at that. I’ve got another three years here at college before I’d look at that.
“But of course, being at Ohio State especially, the ultimate goal is to make it to the league.”
