West Coast forward Liam Ryan has hit the training track on Friday morning as the Eagles confirm they are investigating an alleged street altercation on Wednesday.
Phone vision emerged on Thursday appearing to show Ryan squaring up with another male following a musical festival in Fremantle.
The Eagles have confirmed they are aware of the incident and have advised the AFL Integrity unit, who will now make enquiries into the matter.
West Coast trained on Friday morning, with Ryan joining his teammates at Mineral Resources Park for the session.
Several onlookers can be seen watching on and addressing Ryan by his first name.
“The West Coast Eagles are aware of an incident involving AFL player Liam Ryan in Fremantle on Wednesday evening,” the statement read.
“The club has advised the AFL Integrity Unit.
“Liam and his partner Evana are safe, and Liam will continue with pre-season training on Friday morning.
“The club is working to gather all the information, will support Liam throughout this process and will amke no further comment at this time.”
The 28-year-old helped the AFL launch the Indigenous All Stars guernsey on Thursday morning, arriving a few minutes late to the media opportunity.
Emerging Eagle Reuben Ginbey is also set to face court later this month after being charged for urinating in public at another music festival.
