With just three days to the big night Nadia Coppolino (Jimmy Bartel's partner), Taylor Wilson (Dane Swan), Erin Maxwell (Nick Maxwell), Lauren Poulter (Chris Newman) and Lauren Tscharke (Bryce Gibbs) are putting the finishing touches to their outfits.
Some have had months to prepare, while others have taken a more relaxed approach and sorted out the details in the past two weeks.
"We only worked out the finer details of the dress last week," said Poulter, who will wear an Amaline Vitale gown.
Coppolino says she has worked closely with designer Julie Simonelli.
"Because I'm around fashion images all the time I think I have an interest and a distinct style," the model said.
"I like to have a say in what I wear."
Lauren Tscharke says she is giving a small designer from country Victoria, Kadime Sulegman, a chance to shine on the blue carpet.
Taylor Wilson is turning to celebrity dressmaker Helen Manuell for her Brownlow gown.
"It's beautiful black and nude lace. It's gorgeous," she said.
