Michael Jordan fever has taken over the sporting world again and Collingwood star Jordan De Goey has caught it big time.
With the popularity of The Last Dance documentary, many have been reminded of Jordan’s greatness and been inspired by his dedication to not only being the best basketballer but also his relentless pursuit of team success.
It appears that drive has caught the attention of De Goey, prompting him to have a large mural of Jordan painted on a wall in his home.
The artwork features the iconic photo of Jordan crying as he cradles the Larry O’Brien trophy after winning his first NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991.
De Goey showed off his new addition on Instagram.

“My new housemate #goat #thelastdance,” De Goey captioned the video and photo showing off the new artwork.
The artwork immediately caught the eye of former Collingwood teammate Dane Swan, who was quick to respond.
“You’re not allowed a housemate I’m pretty sure,” Swan wrote.
Collingwood president Eddie McGuire is keen to get a mural of his own — but featuring De Goet.
“I want to get one of Jordy De Goey in my place holding a premiership cup,” he said on Triple M.
De Goey, who is out of contract at season’s end, returned to training this week as the Magpies prepare for the AFL restart from June 11.
Collingwood is expected to feature in the opening game with a blockbuster clash against Richmond at the MCG.
