Carlton is off the vacancy list after appointing caretaker coach David Teague to the full-time job last week, but Taylor has questioned if they acted too soon.
“I’m sure if they knew Ross Lyon was available I don’t think David Teague would be coaching Carlton right now,” Taylor said.
“I’m really interested to see whether the upward form continues with the Blues next year.”
