Adelaide Crows football director Mark Ricciuto said new leadership development manager Daniel Jackson will be helping “to try and fast track the development of leadership and be an extra set of hands”.
The position came as a recommendation at the conclusion of the external review which was conducted at the end of the 2019 season, which saw Brett Burton and Scott Camporeale depart the club.

Ricciuto gave a bit of insight as to what the former Tiger’s role will be at West Lakes when speaking on Triple M this morning.
“His job is to assist the coach and the other coaches and all the players to be the best that they can be,” he said.
“The head coaching role is a big role and quite often you can’t spend enough time with the players to get the best out of them.
“He got the best out of himself as a player, he was a best and fairest.
“Good luck to Daniel Jackson, he’ll start in early March and have an impact on the club and it’s future.”
