SuperCoach: Cats late changes cost Menegola owners, Constable returns
The Cats’ unpredictable late changes left SuperCoaches in the lurch with Sam Menegola (knee) making way for Joel Selwood, until he was replaced by cash cow Charlie Constable half an hour later.

A swing of late changes from has sent SuperCoaches into a frenzy despite superstar Patrick Dangerfield being named in the Cats line-up.
The confusing chain of events left some SuperCoaches in the lurch without a chance to change their sides.
Many predicted a late change, but Sam Menegola owners were shocked when the hard nut made way for skipper Joel Selwood — who had been named as an emergency — before the clash.

Then things got really confusing.
Geelong went back on that move with another change half an hour later, with the club deciding Joel Selwood wasn’t fit to play.
This saw cash cow Charlie Constable get the nod as the inclusion for Sam Menegola.
These late changes had serious consequences for SuperCoaches who didn’t find out the news before the match started.
Spare a thought for the 42 SuperCoaches who traded out Patrick Dangerfield (99 points) for Sam Menegola, who would have been pulling their hair out. Similarly, 36 coaches traded out Constable (92) for Menegola
Meanwhile, some unlucky SuperCoaches are stuck with Charlie Constable as their captain after they used the Cats youngster as their vice-captain loophole.

It could have been a lot worse for those that did, with Constable (92) having a solid outing, scoring well above his break even.
However, his score was far below that of popular vice-captain Brodie Grundy, who posted a formidable 141 SuperCoach points.
