SuperCoach AFL 2025 top-priced players revealed

An AFL superstar heads the SuperCoach rich list again. See 2025 prices of the big names and top draft picks as Team Picker opens exclusively for subscribers.

Marcus Bontempelli has topped the SuperCoach rich list again.

With the opening of the Team Picker for Australia’s biggest fantasy game, the Bulldogs captain has been revealed as the most expensive player for the second year running.

Bontempelli has been given a price tag of $681,000 based on his 2024 average of 126.4 points per game.

His price is slightly lower next year as a result of a small price adjustment for all players to accommodate an extra player in starting squads – coaches will select 31 players including an all-new Flex player.

Bontempelli edges out Melbourne champion Max Gawn, who is priced at $668,900 for the 2025 season.

Gawn is one of two rucks in the five most expensive players, along with breakout Kangaroos star Tristan Xerri.

It is a huge promotion for Xerri, who started last season valued at $407,400.

Players will have the chance to test the all-new Flex position with the Team Picker release, with the choice between picking an extra ruck, an extra midfielder or a dual position player set to go a long way to deciding who wins the $50,000 prize in 2025.

Finding value picks in Team Picker will also go a long way, with plenty of players sliding in price in 2025.

Tim English was priced at $715,100 to start 2024 but is now available for less than $600,000.

Crows pair Jordan Dawson and Rory Laird also started in the top 10 and are almost $100k cheaper.

But that is a minor fall compared to Clayton Oliver, who was the third-most expensive player in SuperCoach in 2024 but will start 2025 with a monster discount. Five Demons will start with higher price tags, including Steven May and Trent Rivers.

TOP draft pick Sam Lalor will cost $203,500, the only draftee priced over $200,000 to start the season

LAST season’s No.1 pick Harley Reid is priced at $434,000 for his second year at the Eagles

JASON Horne-Francis – the 52nd most expensive player overall – is the top-priced forward at $537,000 after earning dual-position status

THE most expensive Crow is Matt Crouch at $568,600, listed at No.33 overall.

RICHMOND has only two players priced over $500,000 – Toby Nankervis ($594,000 RUC) and Tim Taranto ($509,400 MID). There are 17 Tigers under $200k.

PATRICK Dangerfield’s price of $454,200 is his lowest opening quote since 2012.
