Last season three Bulldogs finished in the top four midfield scorers in KFC SuperCoach, can they go one better in 2020?
This year Jack Macrae (the No.1 midfielder in 2019) is in 32 per cent of teams, Josh Dunkley (No.3) is in 15 per cent and Marcus Bontempelli (No.4) is in just 10 per cent.
That was until the Dogs’ opening Marsh Community Series game against the Kangaroos.
Bontempelli ($623,000 MID) was absolutely everywhere as the Dogs ran out 44-point winners, collecting an equal career-high 37 disposals, 17 contested possessions, 10 clearances, eight tackles, two goals — and a whopping 195 SuperCoach points.
His partners in crime were up to their usual tricks, with Macrae (124) and Dunkley (103) both topping the ton.
It was further evidence of the trio’s Marvel Stadium dominance — a venue where the Dogs play five of their first seven home-and-away games.

Todd Goldstein was North Melbourne’s top-scorer but the most encouraging performance of the night came from former Giant Aiden Bonar ($202,800 MID/FWD) who picked up 15 disposals and a eight tackles to finish with 76 points in his first game as a Kangaroo.
