WE ALL laughed at North Melbourne over the pre-season when coach Brad Scott said Jarrad Waite’s best footy was ahead of him and Jamie Macmillan said they’d be “shattered” not to play finals in 2018.

But after the Kangaroos stunned Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium to move into the top four, it’s time we give credit where it’s due for what has been an impressive start to the season.
