The Silvagni name is synonymous with the Carlton Football club, so it comes as no surprise that the latest member of the family, draft pick Ben SIlvagni, would inherit a legendary Blues guernsey number.
While the Blues announced their new recruits' guernsey numbers last month, the Blues are taking a look back on the history of each number.

Silvagni, 18, will wear the prized No.37 owned by hall of fame legend and triple-premiership star Wayne Harmes - the man best-remembered for his stunning effort in the 1979 Grand Final that ripped the collective hearts out of Collingwood fans' chests.
No.1 pick Sam Walsh will don the No.18 of former great Arthur Sanger, among his 116 games the infamous 'Bloodbath' Grand Final of 1945.
The Blues pulled off a bold trade with Adelaide to land young gun Liam Stocker and rewarded him with the No.13 of the great Mil Hanna.
Hanna was a defensive beast who ran like the wind and could play any position, winning the 1995 flag.
St Kilda was the final club to confirm its guernsey numbers for the 2019 season, earlier this month, handing three players famous numbers for next season.
After a year out of the game, Nick Riewoldt's famous No.12 has been passed on to prized No.4 draft pick Max King, who grew up with the number on his back as he supported his childhood idol - Riewoldt.

The No.23, worn by club greats Stewart Loewe, has been inherited by draftee Jack Bytel, while top-10 pick from the 2017 draft Nick Coffield will assume the No.1 guernsey.
The No.1 at St Kilda has previously been worn by champions including Trevor Barker.
Boom Collingwood recruit Dayne Beams has a new number in his return to Magpieland, taking on the No.11 after wearing No.17 in his previous six seasons with the club.
Star Richmond recruit Tom Lynch will wear No.19 - the same number he wore at Gold Coast - while Jack Higgins has moved from No.28 to No.13.
Essendon has wasted no time passing on Brendon Goddard's No.9 guernsey, with star recruit Dylan Shiel to wear it in 2019.
Hawthorn has also handed out Cyril Rioli's famous No.33 following his retirement this year, with draftee Mathew Walker to wear it next year, while Chad Wingard will wear No.20 at the Hawks, the same number he wore at Port Adelaide.
