Graham was charged with striking Brisbane’s Dayne Zorko after collecting the Lion with an elbow during the third quarter of Saturday’s match at the MCG. Richmond attempted to argue Graham’s elbow slipped up off Zorko’s shoulder due to the heavy rain and the attempt was not intentional as he was trying to apply pressure. After the verdict was handed down, Graham said he was disappointed but would accept it and move on. Meanwhile, Western Bulldogs onballer Lachie Hunter has accepted his one-match ban for shoving his hand into the side of the head of Sydney forward Tom Papley when the pair tangled on the ground during Saturday’s clash at Etihad Stadium. Match review officer Michael Christian said Hunter’s penalty was “straight forward”. “There was no question in our minds that it was an intentional action and there was certainly enough force from Lachie in Papley’s face to get to low impact,” he said.
