THE Kangaroos are the only unbeaten team as they surged to the top of the ladder and the Hawks are back in the top eight.

Ando gives his analysis on every club. How is your team faring after Round 4?

1. NORTH MELBOURNE 16pts 119.4%

Four-zip and the Roos are still to put four quarters together so that can’t be all bad. The early wins are vital given they have an extremely challenging second half draw.

2. WESTERN BULLDOGS 12pts 171.8%

Liberatore is playing around 80 per cent so just wait until he regains full confidence. The Dogs’ problem is going to be up forward and tall options, which is why no Crameri hurts so much.

3. SYDNEY 12pts 150.8%

Mills and Heeney might one day become Dangerfield-Selwood like. As for Franklin, for the fourth-straight week he kicked four and had between 16-18 possessions.

4. GEELONG 12pts 142.5%

A long way off where the Cats need to be but the positives include a fit-looking Motlop and Cockatoo starting to find the pill. Plus Henderson played his best game in the hoops.

5. GOLD COAST 12pts 141.6%

The Suns have done well to cover some key losses but still need more from Harbrow, Rischitelli, Day and Rosa. It’s now all about getting O’Meara and Swallow back.

6. WEST COAST 12pts 137.5%

McKenzie is getting surer each week and his defensive mate Sheppard continues to develop. The Eagles’ first half suggests they will be there when tickets become more expensive.

7. ADELAIDE 12pts 124.2%

The AFL’s least known coach in Pyke has the Crows humming. Does any side run better? A turnover appears and they charge like the Light Brigade but with a more positive outcome.

8. HAWTHORN 12pts 106.4%

Is Mitchell actually playing career-best football, not just with possessions but how efficiently he uses them? The Hawks know they have to keep hanging in regards to the ladder.

9. GWS GIANTS 8pts 122.9%

With Cameron back next week it’s starting to come together for the Giants with a rampant midfield being fed by big Mummify. Is this the new dawn we have been awaiting?

10. MELBOURNE 8pts 105.3%

For the first time in a decade Demons supporters can see a clear path and it’s being forged with an ever-growing attacking game. And it starts with Big Max in the middle.

11. PORT ADELAIDE 8pts 88.8%

The Power has become fraudulent in a footballing sense. Not sure what the Chinese are going to make of a team that claims it’s the fittest yet chooses not to run hard.

12. ST KILDA 4pts 84.1%

The Saints are coming faster than most predicted and it starts with ruckman Hickey, while Savage belongs in the top five in the game for hurting teams by foot.

13. RICHMOND 4pts 77.3%

Let’s kick the coach. Hang on, isn’t that the same bloke who has taken a moderate list to finals for the past three years? Correct, so maybe we should look at the cattle.

14. BRISBANE LIONS 4pts 69.3%

Put Rockliff and Beams back in and you have a seriously talented midfield that runs 12 deep. So it becomes a matter of waiting for the talls to develop.

15. COLLINGWOOD 4pts 67.5%

Reckon the Pies’ effort was there but they’re seriously lack confidence, and maybe their depth is lacking at the bottom end. Lose to the Bombers and it will get truly ugly.

16. ESSENDON 4pts 62.6%

Loved the Bombers’ intent and don’t completely write them off on Anzac Day. They obviously need Daniher to fire for that to happen and he won’t be playing on Harry Taylor.

17. FREMANTLE 0pts 65.8%

Starting to look terminal in terms of finals but it is an even year. Then again the Dockers won’t play in September if their forward line remains so dysfunctional.

18. CARLTON 0pts 60.5%

Wright needs to tidy up his finishing but his run was impressive. Kreuzer is at an age where he should be starting to seriously influence games rather than being so-so.
