See how every Geelong Falcons boy fared in 2025 and all the key stats.
Rilley Aquilina (St Joseph’s)
Forward, 181cm, 27/11/07
Falcons stats: 81 SuperCoach points, 13.9 disposals, 4.6 tackles, 2.9 marks (9 games)
Has AFL traits with his speed and pressure, and featured for Vic Country against Western Australia at the national championships. A season-ending broken ankle and leg came just as he was hitting his straps, but he will return to the Falcons as a 19-year-old if things don’t go his way at the draft.
Ned Badrock (Ocean Grove)
Defender, 193cm, 28/2/08
Falcons stats: 50 SuperCoach points, 6.8 disposals, 4.8 intercepts, 1.8 intercept marks (5 games)
Spent most of his season with Geelong Grammar, but showed his promise as a lockdown key back. Graduating from school this year, Badrock will play solely for the Falcons in his draft year and should push for Vic Country selection after representing them as a 16-year-old. Represented Vic Country in an U17 futures match in August.
Lachie Blacket (Barwon Heads)
Defender, 191cm, 4/7/08
Falcons stats: 39 SuperCoach points, 7.0 disposals, 2.7 intercepts (7 games)
Barwon Heads pushed for Blacket to be added to the Falcons list after featuring at senior level for the Seagulls, and he managed to find a spot in the side at the back-end of the season. A third-tall defender who can win one-on-one contests.
Archer Chamberlain (St Joseph’s)
Forward/midfielder, 171cm, 26/1/08
Falcons stats: 80 SuperCoach points, 13.7 disposals, 4.5 score involvements, 3.8 tackles, 0.8 goals (15 games)
After missing out on under-16 Vic Country selection, Chamberlain caught the eye in his bottom-age year. The forward-midfielder came into the side in round three and held his spot, having an impact in the attacking 50 and on-ball.
Jaxon Cooney (St Joseph’s)
Forward, 186cm, 14/5/08
Falcons stats: 62 SuperCoach points, 9.3 disposals, 1.0 goals (3 games)

Ben Coote (Ocean Grove)
Defender/midfielder, 191cm, 3/4/07
Falcons stats: 45 SuperCoach points, 7.9 disposals, 2.1 tackles (10 games)
The Falcons co-captain had an unlucky run with a range of injuries in 2025 after featuring for Vic Country in the U17 futures game last season. A tall and athletic wingman or halfback with great leadership qualities.
Archie Daffy (South Barwon)
Forward, 173cm, 24/9/08
Falcons stats: 55 SuperCoach points, 11.0 disposals, 3.8 score involvements, 0.9 goals (8 games)
The son of Richmond best-and-fairest Nick Daffy shone at APS level for Geelong College and showed some positive signs for the Falcons as a half-forward and wingman. Eligible as a Tigers father-son prospect in 2026, Daffy featured in the U17 futures showcase for Vic Country.
Jett Elek (Lara)
Forward/defender, 201cm, 17/4/07
Falcons stats: 53 SuperCoach points, 9.1 disposals, 2.8 score involvements, 2.6 intercepts (16 games)
Elek’s impressive form for Lara saw him train with the Falcons at the back-half of 2024. Less than a year after that call-up, he featured for Vic Country at the national championships, playing ruck, forward and in defence for the Falcons. The 201cm prospect is athletic for his size and will return to the Falcons as a 19-year-old with plenty of improvement left in him.
Jack Fish (Western Eagles)
Forward, 176cm, 1/6/07
Falcons stats: 45 SuperCoach points, 8.5 disposals, 2.5 marks (2 games)
A good story for the Colac & District league, with Fish earning a Falcons debut after banging the door down for Western Eagles. A pressure small forward who spent some time in the midfield and defence.
Angus Ford (Barwon Heads)
Forward, 175cm, 17/12/07
Falcons stats: 100 SuperCoach points, 17.3 disposals, 4.6 score involvements, 4.1 inside 50s, 1.1 goals (17 games)
Ford was ultra-consistent as a small forward, hitting the scoreboard and having an impact in the midfield. Proved to be a matchwinner at times for the Falcons, including his four goals and 20 disposals against the Western Jets in round 15.
Kobe George (Bell Park)
Defender, 187cm 22/4/06
Falcons stats: 115 SuperCoach points, 22 disposals, 6.0 intercepts, 4.4 marks (9 games)
VFL stats: 46 SuperCoach points, 11 disposals, 3.9 intercepts, 3.3 marks (8 games)
The Falcons believe George has the traits to play at AFL level after catching the eye at VFL level for Geelong and taking hold of games in the Coates Talent League. The over-age prospect returned to the Falcons in 2025 after a season-ending injury in his draft year, and a promising start to the season with Geelong saw him represent the Young Guns ahead of the mid-season draft. His composure, ball-use and defensive ability allow him to have an influence going both ways.
Charlie Gray (St Joseph’s)
Forward, 178cm, 15/5/08
Falcons stats: 57 SuperCoach points, 11.7 disposals, 3.7 tackles, (3 games)

Defender, 186cm, 4/10/07
Falcons stats: 65 SuperCoach points, 8.7 disposals, 5.3 intercepts, 3.7 spoils, 2.0 intercept marks (3 games)
Gilmour was cut during the pre-season but a barnstorming campaign at APS level for Geelong College saw him recalled to the Falcons back mid-year. A national level high jumper, Gilmour’s generated attention from AFL recruiters with his exceptional vertical leap and reading of the play. He finished the APS season as one of the leading interceptors in the competition.
Tom Handley (Geelong West)
Forward/midfielder, 179cm, 6/6/07
Falcons stats: 62 SuperCoach points, 10.9 disposals, 1.1 score assists, 0.7 goals (10 games)
Handley hadn’t been part of the Falcons program since early in the 2024 pre-season, but an impressive run of form for Geelong West’s senior side was too difficult to ignore. Handley was added to the Falcons list in May and hours later he was picked for a debut. An x-factor player who doesn’t mind getting in the face of the opposition, Handley slotted four goals in just his second game for the Falcons and kicked two in their finals defeat to Gippsland.
Archer Hanegraaf (Geelong Amateur)
Midfielder, 180cm, 2/1/07
Falcons stats: 91 SuperCoach points, 17.1 disposals, 9.2 contested possessions, 4.9 tackles, 4.5 clearances (17 games)
A consistent performer playing primarily through the midfield. His Falcons commitments were limited in previous years as a Geelong College student, but graduating last year meant he was able to hold down the fort in 2025. One who can push for VFL opportunities.
Charlie Hanegraaf (Geelong Amateur)
Midfielder, 185cm, 11/10/08
Falcons stats: 71 SuperCoach points, 10.8 disposals 3.2 tackles, 3.2 marks, 0.6 goals (5 games)

Among the Falcons’ leading 2026 draft prospects.
Darcy Harrington (Ocean Grove)
Midfielder/forward 185cm, 11/10/08
Falcons stats: 83 SuperCoach points, 16.8 disposals, 5.4 marks, 3.4 score involvements (5 games)
Debuted at 15 for the Geelong Falcons last year, most of Harrington’s bottom-age season was wiped out by a back injury. He returned in round 17 and had an influence during the finals series, including 23 disposals in their tight win over Bendigo. Another Falcon who was prominent for Vic Country in the U17 futures trial with 15 touches.
Oliver Johnston (Newtown & Chilwell)
Forward/ruck, 192cm, 5/6/07
Falcons stats: 75 SuperCoach points, 11.2 disposals, 5.0 hit-outs, 4.2 score involvements (5 games)
Went from a tall forward to a ruckman in a strong start to the season, which saw him trial for Vic Country early in the year. Spent most of his campaign with Geelong College, booting four six goals in their first two games of the season.
Jacob Keenan (St Mary’s)
Defender, 189cm, 1/4/08
Falcons stats: DNP

Hugh Knuckey (Newtown & Chilwell)
Defender, 192cm, 20/9/08
Falcons stats: DNP
A super athlete who juggled athletics with footy through the pre-season. Knuckey is a good size, a great runner and has some weapons you can’t teach.
Charlie Lawless (Anglesea)
Defender, 194cm, 8/5/07
Falcons stats: 55 SuperCoach points, 7.2 disposals, 4.3 intercept possessions, 1.0 intercept marks, 5.0 hit-outs, 4.2 score involvements (5 gmes)
Relatively new to the elite talent pathway, Lawless likely would have played Vic Country if it weren’t for an ill-timed broken foot which sidelined him for two months. The Falcons view the 194cm key back as a draft smokey with his defensive traits and ball-use. He finished the year with a Bellarine senior premiership with Anglesea.
Josh Lindsay (Newtown & Chilwell)
Defender, 183cm, 7/4/07
Falcons stats: 106 SuperCoach points, 20.5 disposals, 14.8 kicks, 3.7 intercepts (6 games)
U18 champs stats: 94 SuperCoach points, 22.3 disposals, 17.3 kicks (74 per cent efficiency, 4.8 intercepts, 3.8 score involvements (4 games)
A skilfull defender with one of the best kicks in the draft crop, Lindsay put himself in top-10 contention early in the season after a best-on-ground display for the AFL Academy. That came after he was his side’s best player in the U17 futures match on AFL grand final day last year. Lindsay excelled as Vic Country’s No.1 distributor out of defence at the national championships, which earnt him a spot in the U18 All-Australian team. The Newtown & Chilwell product has been the talk of the town but has remained ultra-professional on and off the field. His finish to the season wasn’t as strong by his lofty standards, spending some time on the wing, but he still stood up with important moments during the finals series. He has his fans in the top-10 and in the teens.
Mitchell Lindsey (St Mary’s)
Ruck/defender, 193cm, 7/4/07
Falcons stats: 49 SuperCoach points, 6.3 disposals, 8.0 hit-outs, 1.3 intercept marks (8 games)
Lindsey’s size and athleticism was used in the ruck and defence this season. But he was unable to get a clean run at it with injuries holding him back.
Dan Lowther (Lara)
Forward/ruck, 199cm, 7/8/06
Falcons stats: 98 SuperCoach points, 13.3 disposals, 10.8 hit-outs, 3.0 clearances, 1.1 goals (8 games)
Lowther was interviewed by a few clubs ahead of last year’s draft, but was held back by more injuries in his over-age campaign, missing most of the pre-season with a back issue suffered during match simulation with Geelong VFL. His athleticism saw him play mostly as a ruckman, finishing the season with 24 disposals, 16 contested possessions and a goal in their finals loss.
Fred Lucas (Bell Park)
Defender, 181cm, 2/10/07
Falcons stats: 82 SuperCoach points, 16.1 disposals, 3.8 intercepts 3.5 marks (17 games)
Featured in every game and proved to be a damaging rebounder off halfback, particularly when Lindsay was out. Has the traits to play VFL footy.
Hamish McGowan (Torquay)
Defender, 180cm, 28/3/07
Falcons stats: 57 SuperCoach points, 10.3 disposals, 2.7 intercepts (13 games)
Had a few injury issues throughout the year but was a reliable one-on-one defender for the Falcons with his strength and power.
Cooper McKane (Lara)
Defender, 197cm, 24/1/08
Falcons stats: DNP
Hadn’t been in the elite pathway until this year and while he didn’t debut, the Falcons were buoyed by his growth. Showed great signs across 13 senior games for Lara this year as a key defender with plenty of footy coming his way.
Riley McLeod (St Joseph’s)
Forward, 191cm, 13/6/08
Falcons stats: 63 SuperCoach points, 8.1 disposals, 1.0 score assists, 0.9 goals (14 games)
Got his chance early on in the year and held his spot for the rest of the season. A clever forward who kicked shone in their late season win over Murray, McLeod was rewarded with a an under-17 trial for Vic Country.
Charlie Meadows (South Barwon)
Defender, 181cm, 17/4/07
Falcons stats: 46 SuperCoach points, 9.5 disposals, 2.4 intercepts (8 games)
Wasn’t on the Falcons list midway through last year and got absolutely everything out of himself. Brought leadership in spades and finished the year with an under-18 premiership with South Barwon.
Sam Meaney (South Barwon)
Wing, 179cm, 4/3/07
Falcons stats: 38 SuperCoach points, 6.5 disposals, 0.5 goals (2 games)
Starred with four goals in South Barwon’s under-18 grand final win. Meaney was unable to consistently break into the team, with a collarbone setback and a couple of other injuries striking at the wrong time.
Jesse Mellor (South Barwon)
Forward/midfielder, 185cm, 4/1/07
Falcons stats: 111 SuperCoach points, 16.8 disposals, 6.3 score involvements, 4.3 tackles, 1.8 goals (13 games)
U18 Champs stats: 82 SuperCoach points, 11.0 disposals, 7.5 score involvements, 4.5 marks, 2.0 goals (4 games)
Mellor was arguably the Falcons’ biggest improver this year, earning U18 All-Australian selection and also showing great signs at VFL level. The Geelong Next Generation Academy prospect turned games in the midfield and up forward, including four goals and 19 disposals in their finals win over Bendigo. The powerful forward slotted three goals agaisnt South Australia and the Allies at the national championships and finished with two goals and 17 touches in his second VFL game for the Cats. Showed he doesn’t need a lot of the footy to have a major impact. Should attract a rival bid from the second-round onwards which the Cats can match.
Hugo Mikunda (Bell Park)
Forward/midfielder, 180cm, 13/3/07
Falcons stats: 86 SuperCoach points, 17.3 disposals, 4.0 score involvements, 3.0 tackles (10 games)
U18 Champs stats: 73 SuperCoach points, 13.3 disposals, 5.5 score involvements, 2.3 score assists, 0.8 goals (4 games)
A patient approach from both Mikunda and the Falcons througb a pre-season hamstring and back concern paid off, allowing the forward-midfielder hit his straps just at the right time during the national championshuips. Mikunda showcased his burst from congestion and creative ball-use with Vic Country, underlined by his 20 disposals and two goals against Vic Metro. The dynamic small is the prototype half-forward-wingman with his speed, endurance and decision making and made a promising debut for Werribee VFL in the back-half of the year. Mikunda could be the next Falcon taken after Lindsay and his range likely begins in the 20s.
Jordan Monohan (Queensclif)
Forward, 182cm, 13/3/07
Falcons stats: 53 SuperCoach points, 7.6 disposals, 4.8 score involvements, 1.0 goals (10 games)
Played a key role during the APS break for the Falcons as a consistent goalkicker and kicked bags of goals at Queenscliff, finishing the year with 37 goals in 15 games. A real threat one-on-one despite his size.
Jagger Mooney (Newtown & Chilwell)
Defender, 188cm, 6/7/07
Falcons stats: 46 SuperCoach points, 8.3 disposals, 3.6 intercepts, 2.6 spoils (9 games)
The son of Geelong great Cameron Mooney played at the opposite end to his dad as a lockdown key defender. A dedicated role player who does everything to beat his opponent and continued to work on the offensive side of his game. Injuries restricted him to nine games for the Falcons.
Harry Morphet (Leopold)
Forward, 177cm, 1/8/07
Falcons stats: 29 SuperCoach points, 7.0 disposals, 0.5 goals (4 games)
Didn’t see much action as a bottom-ager after a serious injury, but he was able to feature in four games as a small forward. The Falcons are bullish on his talent and believe the U16 Vic Country representative is capable of playing at a higher level, having made his senior debut for Leopold mid-year.
Jai Natonewski (South Barwon)
Defender, 177cm, 24/5/07
Falcons stats: 47 SuperCoach points, 9.0 disposals, 4.6 tackles (5 games)

Jack Pickett (Torquay)
Forward, 193cm, 3/6/08
Falcons stats: 97 SuperCoach points, 8.8 disposals, 6.4 score involvements, 4.0 marks, 1.8 contested marks, 3.9 goals (8 games)
U18 Champs stats: 48 SuperCoach points, 4.5 disposals, 3.0 score involvements, 1.5 goals (2 games)
Pickett stamped himself as one of the leading key forwards in the 2026 draft pool, kicking bags of goals for the Falcons and Geelong Grammar. The prolific goalkicker had an uncanny knack of hitting the scoreboard, slotting 30 majors in eight Falcons games and a further 25 in eight APS matches. Pickett has great hands overhead and forward craft which allows him to make the most of every entry. He also played for Vic Country as a bottom-ager and slotted two majors on the MCG in the U17 futures game.
Guiseppe Posterimo (St Joseph’s)
Forward, 176cm, 2/12/07
Falcons stats: 56 SuperCoach points, 9.0 disposals, 4.2 score involvements, 0.7 goals (6 games)
After winning the best-on-ground medal in the U18 grand final last year for St Joseph’s, Posterino played six games as a half forward/winger. Kicked two goals against the Lions Academy early in the year and made his senior debut with the Joeys later in the season.
Fletcher Pulleine (St Joseph’s)
Defender, 189cm, 25/7/08
Falcons stats: 55 SuperCoach points, 9.9 disposals, 4.9 intercepts, 1.3 intercept marks (8 games)
Coming from an elite basketball background, Pulleine narrowed his focus to footy at the back-end of last year and had a promising bottom-age campaign for the Falcons and Geelong Grammar. He was rewarded with an U17 Vic Country trial, where he tallied 15 disposals. Pulleine is athletic, competitive and has plenty of upside.
Van Rahilly (Torquay)
Defender, 189cm, 25/7/08
Falcons stats: 37 SuperCoach points, 8.1 disposals, 2.7 score involvements (7 game)
The son of former Geelong player and current assistant coach James Rahilly, Van got games at different points as a bottom-ager where he showed his ability in congestion. Is 10 games off father-son eligibility, given James played 90 games for the Cats. Van also made his debut for Torquay this year.
Boston Riccardi (Newtown & Chilwell)
Wing, 180cm, 6/4/07
Falcons stats: 37 SuperCoach points, 8.0 disposals, 2.4 marks (5 games)
Riccardi, the son of Geelong great Peter and younger brother of former-listed Cat Osca, got opportunities early in the year where he showed his polish on the outside. A late developer who will build into his body.
Geordie Richardson (Geelong Amateur)
Defender/forward, 186cm, 5/1/07
Falcons stats: 55 SuperCoach points, 10.6 disposals, 3.0 intercepts (10 games)
Richardson had been used mostly up forward through the pathway, but he embraced a move down back and performed well. The Vic Country U16 representative is capable of making the jump to VFL footy.
Tyson Roberts (St Albans)
Defender, 186cm, 15/7/07
Falcons stats: 46 SuperCoach points, 8.1 disposals, 3.9 intercepts, 1.0 intercept marks (9 games)
Another who got the best out of himself and saw plenty of growth. Got squeezed out of the Falcons’ defence but debuted in the GFNL with St Albans.
Ben Rongdit (Colac)
Defender, 184cm, 5/10/07
Falcons stats: 66 SuperCoach points, 11.0 disposals, 7.0 intercepts, 3.5 tackles, 1.5 intercept marks (2 games)
Highly-touted entering 2025 as a member of the AFL Academy, Rongdit has been cruelled by injuries over the past two years. The Geelong Next Generation Academy prospect ruptured his ACL in late May, expected to return midway through next yar, which followed a long-term ankle injury in 2024. Rongdit, who has South Sudanese heritage, has only played three games for the Falcons due to those injuries and his school football commitments. The athletic and tough defender shone at the U16 championships in 2023 and has shown exciting flashes at training and at APS level.
Tom Teague (Ocean Grove)
Defender, 178cm, 14/3/08
Falcons stats: 55 SuperCoach points, 10.3 disposals, 3.1 intercepts (8 games)

Lucius White (North Ballarat)
Defender, 179cm, 17/7/07
Falcons stats: 59 SuperCoach points, 9.7 disposals, 2.3 intercepts (7 games)

Paul Wichay (Geelong West)
179cm, 27/7/07
Falcons stats: 28 SuperCoach points, 9.0 disposals (1 game)
The Geelong Next Generation Academy member showed great improvement, earning him a Falcons debut.
Mason Williams (Leopold)
Midfielder, 182cm, 31/1/07
Falcons stats: 90 SuperCoach points, 15.4 disposals, 5.2 tackles, 3.8 score involvements (17 games)
Williams was reliable at the coalface with his tackling pressure and ball-winning. The Leopold product also improved his ball-use in his top-age year. Williams is another who should be right in the mix for a VFL spot.
Noah Williams (St Joseph’s)
Midfielder, 176cm, 22/1/08
Falcons stats: 89 SuperCoach points, 12.9 disposals, 5.8 tackles, 0.5 goals (10 games)

Playing on a wing, Williams’ speed and skills stood out as he finished with 17 disposals and seven inside 50s against the best U17 talents in the country. Williams was used in a variety of different roles at the Falcons where he showed his competitiveness and tidy ball-use.
