THE pressure to look like a supermodel is ruining the Brownlow Medal for some partners of AFL stars.
Amy Burgoyne, wife of former Port Adelaide premiership player and Hawthorn star Shaun, is attending her third medal count tonight and said the event had become increasingly obsessed with the fashions of the partners.

"There is a lot of expectation put on football wives and girlfriends, that you are a supermodel, but we're just normal, regular girls, a lot of us are mums."
She said she was a bundle of nerves before stepping out of the car and into the media frenzy.
"I take it with a good attitude and a bit of fun, but I think there's a lot of girls out there that find it really stressful."
Burgoyne made the worst-dressed list a few years back, but decided not to let it affect her.
"I sent the email around to all my friends," she said.
" I made a joke of it."
Hopefully this year she will avoid that title, wearing a dress by designer Craig Braybrook.
