It’s almost time for another Brownlow Medal count and this year is shaping as a beauty.
The two favourites are Nick Daicos and Patrick Cripps who both had stellar seasons despite their respective clubs not achieving the team success they desired.
Lachie Neale looms as a smoky to claim a third Brownlow which would be another boilover like last year’s upset win.
Isaac Heeney will receive plenty of votes in the early part of the season. Could he finish on top and be denied the medal due to his suspension?
In our 2024 form guide, we analyse every match of the top 15 contenders for the medal.
See the games where the favourites are in contention to poll, get the three votes or are expected to miss entirely.

THE FORMULA
The Herald Sun’s Player of the Year award was decided on 3-2-1 votes from each of the 207 home-and-away games.
Champion Data used its player rankings to determine its 3-2-1 votes for each match. It also took into account the winning team and a player’s voting history.
