Upper Mt Gravatt road rage: Toowong cyclist hospitalised
A Brisbane cyclist has been hospitalised and had his bike damaged in a pre-dawn road rage attack, with police searching for two suspects, including a man with a ‘mullet’ hairstyle.

Police are on the hunt for two suspects, one of whom is said to be sporting a mullet, after a shocking road rage attack over the long weekend which saw a cyclist in his 60s hospitalised and his bike damaged.
Police say a Toowong man, 61, was riding southbound on Logan Rd between Kempsie and Dawson roads about 4.30am on Sunday morning when the attack occurred.
The attack is believed to be random.

“The driver of a white vehicle, believed to be an older 90s model Holden Commodore sedan, stopped in front of the cyclist and the front passenger got out and rushed at the cyclist knocking him off his bike onto the road,” Upper Mount Gravatt Police OIC Snr-Sgt Murray Crone said.
The cyclist was transported to the Princess Alexandra hospital with “non-life threatening injuries” about 5.20am and his road bicycle was damaged.
The offender is described as a Caucasian man in his early 20s, 180cm tall with a slim build, and dark hair in a mullet style, shaved at the sides.
The offender was in company with a woman described as being in her early 20s, Caucasian, with brown hair and a heavy build.
Police are wishing to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
