Workplace Health and Safety Queensland are investigating after a teenager suffered life threatening pelvic injuries in a truck and pedestrian incident in Brisbane’s westside this morning.

A teenage pedestrian is fighting for life after he was involved in a crash with a truck at Fig Tree Pocket.
The incident occurred at a property in the suburb in Brisbane’s west just after 7am.
A male in his teens was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life threatening pelvic injuries.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) is investigating with the assistance of the Forensic Crash Unit.
A WHSQ spokesperson said inspectors have been to site to investigate.
“As this is an active investigation, WHSQ is not able to provide further comment at this time,” the spokesperson said.
