A teenager screamed for his mother while being led away by police, following a brawl on the steps of a Brisbane courthouse.
Ugly scenes erupted outside of Richlands Magistrates Court on Thursday after the boy, 15, became involved in a fight with another male about 10am.
He was charged with public nuisance and obstruct police after his arrest.
The boy, who was attending Childrens Court that morning, could be seen removing his shirt while exiting the building.
Multiple punches were thrown before police officers and court security intervened and separated the pair.
Police allege the 15-year-old hurled abuse at police, calling them “c***s” and telling them to “f*** off”.
After allegedly trying to leave, officers restrained the boy and led him away in handcuffs.
His tirade continued until he was led away to the watch house, screaming for help from his mother in the process.
Some onlookers continued to scream abuse to police and the media during the arrest.
It is not known how the fight started.
