Indooroopilly Police who stopped a car on Moggill Rd were stunned to find a treasure trove of suspected stolen pieces of jewellery, some of them apparently family heirlooms.

During the course of the search last Wednesday, police allegedly found a box containing a number of pieces of jewellery.

The pieces were seized so police could make further inquiries.
