30. HAMISH MUIR (Villanova College)
Stylish fullback who has obvious natural ability, but also someone who has a keen sense of the game. Muir is a very gifted young player.
29. SIONE TAPUOSI (Nudgee College)
Tapuosi sneaks into the top 30 list on potential, not performance. A sensational athlete would not have gone unnoticed by talent scouts from either code.
28. BRAYDEN PAIX (St Mary’s College)
Halfback Paix is in a crop of promising young St Mary’s College juniors who were coming through a school of hard knocks but whose skill level should see them come out the other side.
27. COREY THOMAS (Wavell SHS)
Promising Wavell SHS fullback who possesses all the traits to be an outstanding player – courage, pace and footballing sixth sense both in attack and defence.
26. WILL SEMU (Marsden SHS)
The baby of the list, Will Semu has an exciting centre talent from the Marsden SHS conveyor belt of footballing talent who has already been snapped up by the Gold Coast Titans.
25. EVANDER TERE-TONGOTAUA (Ipswich SHS)
The Sydney Roosters, no less, have swooped on this big centre from Allan Langer’s old school. A strapping 192cm and 100kg with skill to go with it.
24. XAVIER VA’A (St Mary’s College)
A headgear wearing front rower from St Mary’s College who looks the goods and who will come into his own during next season’s Langer Cup. Certainly the Brisbane Broncos think so – they have signed him and his little brothers from the Darling Downs.
23. JOSIAH PAHULU (Ipswich SHS)
Pahulu rose to the occasion for Ipswich SHS in a very competitive front row position. Signed by the Gold Coast Titans, he played some games at lock and some at prop and was consistent across the entire season in the engine room.

22. CARSEN PATU (The Southport School)
Highly rated, extremely talented TSS rugby union front rower who impresses in every facet of the code.
21. XAVIER STOWERS (Ipswich SHS)
A hulking rugby union No. 8, Stowers is an outstanding backrow prospect who will only get better the more experience he gathers.
20. JOSH BILLING (Marist College Ashgrove)
A border at Marist College from western Queensland, Billing is a tall, raw boned centre who could play either code with ease.
19. LASTUS AUAKAI (Nudgee College)
Auakai is a well-rounded, wonderfully gifted inside centre with all the skills. Fantastic vision for a rugby No. 12 but with enough pace and strength to make an impact on his own. Also a nice lower tackler.
18. MATT MITCHELL (Marist College Ashgrove)
Mitchell was a scheming halfback for Marist College Ashgrove but someone who you could also see playing dummy half in rugby league or No.9 in rugby.
17. XAVIER SAVAGE (Palm Beach Currumbin)
A little like No. 30 choice Sione Tapuosi, this former sprint champion from Cairns has been rated on this list on his stunning potential. Savage was one trait that is rare – pace, saw speed, and lots of it. Not unlike NRL speedster Josh Addo Carr
16. VINCENT SEFO (Brisbane State High School)
Sefo was one of the most dynamic running backrowers in the GPS competition with an uncanny ability to beat the first defence with foot and power. Sefo also has a high work rate and has been noted by rugby talent scouts that count.
