QSSRL chair Andrew Peach stressed “crowds being permitted were at the discretion of school principals in the south east corner’’.
Keebra Park SHS has confirmed it will remain crowd free this round for home games at the Southport Tigers.
Peach said the Titans Challenge may have different restrictions on attendance.
He said school livestreaming for the Renouf and Hancock junior competitions via the QSSRL Facebook page on Tuesday would continue, but Langer Cup and Walters Cup games would continue to be livestreamed each Wednesday by News at www.couriermail.com.au.
Peach said while spectator bans had been lifted, there would still be restrictions as host schools “consider their plan for providing a safe environment at their venue’’.
”School principals are ultimately responsible for the processes in place, along with club venues where we play,’’ Peach said.
