A left arm swing bowler, Haller pitched up to claim many of his victims bowled or LBW.
“It was old style swing bowling,’’ said Iona College coach Wayne Niven.
From the Wynnum Manly club - ironically the same club as former Queensland swing bowling great Adam Dale - Haller made the ball sing.

What a joy it was to see good old fashioned skill as the youngster let the ball do the talking.
Aged just 15, Haller made the Queensland schoolboys under 15 team and will play Taverner’s U17s at the Sea Eagles next season.
Marist College Ashgrove won the T20 final against Villanova in a match which went down to the final over.
After Marist’s Braiden Polich had scored a half century, Marist tail-enders Archer Tallon and Oliver Haynes scrambled the winning runs with just a few balls to spare.
Earlier, Villanova’s Lachlan Whaites had lit up the Padua College Oval with a stirring 50 to elevate his side to 126, leaving Ashgrove a competitive 127 for victory.
