Easts halfback Eli Pilz kicked a winning penalty goal on full-time to hand the Tigers a 14-13 win over Sydney premiers Gordon in the Rugby Club Championship final today at David Wilson Field. A sustained pick and drive movement by the forwards led to the late win.
