Footage has been released of a man wanted by police as part of investigations into a fire at a shopping centre in Brisbane’s southwest.
Police allege that on December 20 at 10.45pm, the man approached the loading dock of an Inala Ave shopping complex and lit a fire near the waste area.
It caused damage to electricity, water mains and lighting.
Nobody was injured in the fire, which was extinguished soon after and the man allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Police describe the man as having a dark complexion, around 175 cm tall and with a black beard.
He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt, grey shorts, black runners with a grey cap and a long silver necklace.
Police have appealed for the man, or anyone with information on his identity to come forward.
