Springfield Rise to offer 4000 homes, new schools and sports fields
A MAJOR developer has announced plans to build another community in the booming Springfield region. The first residents are set to move in mid-2017. Find out what’s on offer.

Lendlease has announced plans to develop a new community between Springfield Central and White Rock featuring about 4000 homes and 10 new schools.
Springfield Rise is set to be home to 12,000 people and will include 50 ha of open space, 15 parks, three lakes, cycling tracks and new sports fields.
Lendlease’s managing director of communities business, Matthew Mears, said residents would enjoy easy access to schools and the expanding Orion Springfield Central.
A Lendlease spokeswoman said site works would begin in the new year, with the first house to be constructed late next year.
“Residents will move in approximately early to mid- 2017,” she said.
Springfield Rise will be 28km from Brisbane and 17km from Ipswich.
